We pray that you have been overflowing with the glory of God as you have sought Him in prayer during the 2026 National Day of Prayer!
In the words of NDP Task Force President Kathy Branzell, "The prayers prayed are the ink on the pages of future history books!"
As millions of prayers have been prayed this week, we wait and watch with joyful, confident expectation to see God move.
Our 2026 theme, “Glorify God Among the Nations – Seeking Him in All Generations,” is drawn from 1 Chronicles 16:24 (NASB): “Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples.” It’s a powerful reminder that every nation and every generation have a role to play in seeking the Lord and proclaiming His glory.
And the praying continues! You are invited to view the National Day of Prayer Broadcast, hosted by NDP Task Force president Kathy Branzell, with prayers from the National Day of Prayer Congressional Observance, held in Statuary Hall in the United States Capitol, graciously hosted by Speaker of the House Mike Johnson.
This historic gathering brought together Christian leaders, such as Speaker Mike Johnson, Dr. Rob Pacienza, Os Guinness, A.R. Bernard, Chaplain Margaret Grun Kibben, and others from across the nation to lead us in prayer for America from this beautiful and significant setting.
One of the special moments in this year’s program will feature Will Graham, who will share about his grandfather, Rev. Billy Graham, and his role in helping establish the National Day of Prayer in 1952. He will also share a clear Gospel message, inviting viewers to place their trust in Jesus.
This 90-minute virtual prayer gathering is for believers across America and across the world to join together in prayer and worship. Lift up your prayers with us and be encouraged as we pray for neighbor and nation, and be filled with God's glory as you seek Him!
