The Lubbock Chamber of Commerce will host the 2025 Community Prayer Luncheon, presented by Lubbock Christian University, on Thursday, May 1, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the newly renovated Knipling Education Conference Center (KECC) at Covenant Medical Center. The venue, located on the sixth floor of the West Parking Garage at 21st Street and Louisville Avenue, offers stunning views of Lubbock and serves as a premier gathering space for community events.

Held in observance of the National Day of Prayer, the Community Prayer Luncheon unites local leaders, businesses, organizations and churches in a shared moment of faith and reflection. 

This year's event will feature top 10 Billboard charting Christian singer-songwriter, Josh Wilson.

Since signing with Sparrow Records in 2006, Wilson has become a household name in contemporary Christian music, earning multiple Top 10 Billboard hits and sharing the stage with Third Day, Steven Curtis Chapman, Matthew West, and Casting Crowns. A gifted multi-instrumentalist, Wilson is known for his dynamic live performances, often looping and layering up to 20 instruments on stage. 

The luncheon will also feature prayers led by distinguished community leaders, including Lubbock Mayor Mark McBrayer, NAACP President Milton Lee, and additional guests to be announced.

Prayers will be lifted up by pastors and other community prayer leaders in Lubbock for our city, state and nation, our schools, first responders, as has been the custom in the past around the Gazebo. The community is invited to gather at noon on the courthouse lawn for this one-hour prayer service.

This observance will be held in Lufkin Texas at our downtown Civic Center. The program will include representation from 15 different churches in this community. Music will be provided by students from Lufkin High School. Prayer partners will be available to offer prayer at the conclusion of the ceremony. Food vendors will be on site as well

Our Women in Missions group at First Baptist Church Mathis will host a Potluck Luncheon and time of prayer . Lunch starts at 12:00 pm and at 12:30pm we will pray using the Prayer Guide for the National Day of Prayer.

Cityview Community Church will be hosting prayer events throughout the day for the National Day of Prayer.  at 7AM we will begin with a community drive thru prayer for the many commuters passing by the church headed to the High School.  At 9AM we will open our doors to allow members of the community to pray throughout the day until 4PM.  At 6PM we will be hosting an evening worship event.  

Churches, businesses, etc will meet from throughout North Richland Hills and surrounding areas to come together outside NRH City Hall for a time of prayer together. It will be led by various church pastors, and community leaders.

Moms and their children can gather at the park and pray for families, churches can open their doors for the public to come and pray. Let there be right throughout the county of Rockwall all day on May 2, so we will Exalt the Lord.

National Day Of Prayer Event-Troy, Texas

Join people across Gonzales County as they gather at Thompsonville Community Church to participate in our country's NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER. (Refreshments will follow. All are welcome.)

We will be gathering from all local churches at the Waller High School Gym (31213 Waller Spring Creek Road, Waller, TX 77484) to pray for our Nation in Jesus' Name. The doors open at 6:30pm. Invite your church, family and friends and join us as we pray to our Lord and King! 

Ellis County National Day of prayer will meet at noon, in downtown Waxahachie, at the Railyard Park amphitheater. (455 S. College Street, Wax. TX.) We have the 4th thru 6th grade choir for our opening. They'll sing the Nation Anthem and one or two more songs. 

We also will erect Prayer Tents this year. Each tent will be themed to cover one of the focused areas of prayer:  Business, Church, Government, Education, Family, Military, and Media/Arts/ Entertainment.  All participants are welcome to stay after the MAIN EVENT to pray in private, in one or all of the areas of focused prayer.
