The Dublin/Laurens County National Day of Prayer Task Force will host two events on May 7, 2026. The 12 noon event will be at Market on Madison, 314 W Madison St, Dublin, GA 31021. A community gathering in the outdoor center square of Gainesville.

People are encouraged to take their lunch hour and come to the Square for an hour of prayer for our nation. There will be special worship music and people will rotate to eight prayer stations, where prayer leaders from our community will lead in prayer for all the centers of influence in our nation.

All are invited to observe and celebrate the 75th anniversary of the National Day of Prayer as we consecrate our Community, State, and Nation as Holy under God at the very steps of the Spalding County Courthouse. Our Spalding County event, now in it's 20th year, will be packed with a wide variety of Pastoral staff as well as Community Leaders. The ceremony will be filled with uplifting prayers, worship songs and hymns, plus a short message. The event is guaranteed to be a multi-generational, multi-denominational and multi-ethnic event that lasts approximately 45 minutes. Join us as we "Glorify God Among the Nations, Seeking Him in All Generations" (1st Chronicles 16:24). Arrive early to get a seat and enjoy the pre-service music. NOTE: In the event of inclement weather, services will be moved next door to Journey Church at 210 E Solomon St., Griffin, GA. Hope to see you there!

Jasper GA is gathering to pray for the nation at Lee Newton Park from 5pm to 7pm Thursday, May 7th 2026.

For many years, our local government leaders have granted permission for area pastors and faith leaders to gather at the Pickens County Courthouse in Jasper, to hold a public observance on the National Day of Prayer. We are continuing this tradition this year, with an open air service, beginning at 12:00 noon, which consists of Scripture reading, patriotic music, and a number of pastors leading in prayer for various aspects of our nation and community.

The Gwinnett County National Day of Prayer will take place at on Thursday May 7th at 6pm at the Lawrenceville Lawn (210 Luckie Street in Lawrenceville). 

Speakers include Lawrenceville Mayor David Still, Cross Pointe Church Senior Pastor Dr. James Merritt, Radloff Middle School Teacher of the Year Dr. Lisa Babbage, and retired U.S. Army Chaplain Anthony Locke. During the gathering attendees will be led in intercessory prayers for Government, Religion, Education, and the Military. The colors will be presented by Central Gwinnett High School’s JROTC program and the National Anthem will be sung by Killian Hill Christian School student Reion Park. There will also be a special performance by Lilburn Assembly of God.  A prayer team will be availble to pray with anyone in need of prayer.
