Local National Day of Prayer Gathering Search

Somebody Cares Pasco is once again sponsoring a National Day of Prayer gathering, May 7, at the Pasco County Government Bld. off Little Rd. 8731 Citizens Dr, New Port Richey, FL 34654, 12 noon- 1pm. It will begin with Praise & Worship followed by prayers lead by area leaders. We will be following the outline of prayer points developed by the National Day of Prayer task force.

As we celebrate our 250th anniversary as a nation this year we are taking time to remember what our nation was built on, what our founding fathers believed in and what responsibilities they charged us with. Join us for a time of worship and thanksgiving to Almighty God who established our nation and a time of recollection, reflection, and prayer concerning The United  States of America, her people and future.

For more than three decades, the Tampa Bay National Day of Prayer Brunch has served as a sacred gathering where believers, civic leaders, first responders, and community members unite in prayer for our city, our nation, and those who serve.

Hosted by FaithTalk Tampa and held in alignment with the National Day of Prayer, this meaningful morning creates intentional space to seek God together through worship, Scripture, and focused prayer over the key spheres that shape our society—including government, public safety, education, business, media, and families.

The 2026 theme, “Glorify God Among The Nations, Seeking Him in All Generations,” is inspired by 1 Chronicles 16:24: “Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples.” This call reminds us to honor the legacy of faith that has gone before us while boldly passing that faith forward to future generations.

We are honored to welcome Kelvin Cochran, former Fire Chief of Atlanta, as our keynote speaker. A nationally respected leader known for his courage, integrity, and unwavering faith, Chief Cochran will deliver a powerful message encouraging leaders and believers alike to stand firm, serve faithfully, and trust God’s purpose in every season.

Whether you attend as an individual, with your church, your organization, or your family, this gathering is an opportunity to be part of something bigger—prayer that unites, strengthens, and impacts our community.

We will meet at the Plant City City Hall located at 302 W Reynolds St, Plant City, FL 33563 at noon on May 7th. We will have live music from 11:30 am to noon, then at noon we will begin our time of prayer. There are many area pastors who are coming together to pray over our city. Everyone is welcome to come and spend an hour of prayer. If you are unable to make it to City Hall at that time, you will be able to watch the live stream on YouTube or Facebook. Just go to the Youmans Praise & Worship Center YouTube channel and you will be able to see the live stream or the replay later. We will gather at the flag pole to pray before school starts at Potter Elementary School in Tampa.

National day of prayer , we will be gathering multiple churches in the community to gather and pray 

Come and join in with the Body of Christ from around the greater Oldsmar community, as we gather to worship and pray for our community, state, and nation. We will be back in the sanctuary of Oldsmar Baptist Church once again this year, and are looking forward to no humidity, bugs, or threats of rain!

This year marks our 28th annual observance of this important day, and we are always excited to see participation from several churches from across the top of Tampa Bay.
