Copy and personalize the below letter to encourage local pastors and clergy members by sharing about the National Day of Prayer, and inviting them to discuss their ideas and suggestions for the local NDP gathering. If their suggestions are in alignment with the mission and vision of the NDP Task Force, they might be a good fit to invite to further participate in the planning process or lead prayer at your gathering.
Copy and personalize the below letter to invite local media outlets to attend your local National Day of Prayer gathering. This letter includes information about the history, significance, and newsworthiness of the gathering, and affirms our commitment to pray for all media personnel during prayers for Arts, Media and Entertainment. Space is provided for the specific details of your gathering.
Copy and personalize the below letter to invite a local government leader, such as a mayor, city council representative, or county commissioner to attend your local National Day of Prayer gathering. This letter includes information about the history of the National Day of Prayer, as well as a notice that a local National Day of Prayer proclamation has already been requested.
Government leaders are most often invited to gatherings to read the proclamation that is given from their office, and then be prayed over.
