We will gather under the pavilion as we pray for our city, state, country and nation. 

A time of prayer in the Baskin Prayer chapel at Brentwood Baptist church on May 7th. You may enter/ leave on your own schedule or preference. There will be a National Day of Prayer ceremony May 7 at 12:00 noon at the Collierville Town Square. This event will be led by local pastors and leaders.  Led by Central Church.   Host is Ellen Olford, Director of Women’s Ministries, Central Church.

We will gather to pray for the following prayer points: Church, Family, Government, A&E/Media, Business, Education, Military and Israel (not necessarily in this order). Come ready to pray in small groups interspersed with worship. 

This is an open prayer space to come/go as your schedule permits. You may pray alone or with someone else present.

Prayer time will begin in our sanctuary for about 30 minutes. Followed by lunch in our Family Life Center dining room. You can have lunch with us or feel free to take lunch with you.

The City of Elizabethton invites residents, community leaders, and local organizations to come together in observance of the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 7, 2026. This annual event offers an opportunity for unity, reflection, and collective prayer for the nation, state, and local community.

A public gathering will be held at the Covered Bridge Park beginning at 12:00 p.m., where city officials, local clergy, and community members will lead prayers focused on government, education, families, military personnel, first responders, and the overall well-being of the community.

Elizabethton City Mayor William E. “Bill” Carter and Carter County Mayor Patty Woodby will issue an official proclamation recognizing the day and encouraging all citizens to participate, whether by attending the gathering or observing a moment of prayer individually.

The 2026 National Day of Prayer theme, “Glorify God Among the Nations – Seeking Him in All Generations,” emphasizes unity across generations and communities in seeking guidance, strength, and hope.

“This day serves as a meaningful reminder of the power of prayer, community, and shared purpose,” said Mayor Carter, “We encourage everyone to take part in this time of reflection and come together in support of one another and our nation.”

The event is open to the public, and all are welcome to attend.

Join believers from across Lincoln County for a time of intercessory prayer. The gathering will meet at the Lincoln County Courthouse Bandstand at 12 Noon.

Residents of Jackson County are invited to gather for the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at noon on the Jackson County Courthouse Lawn in Gainesboro, Tennessee. Organized by Uniting in Prayer for Jackson County, TN, this community event will bring together churches, families, and local leaders to pray for our county, nation, and future generations. Guided by the 2026 theme, “Glorify God Among the Nations – Seeking Him in All Generations” (1 Chronicles 16:24), participants will pray over key areas including government, military, churches, families, education, students, businesses, health, and first responders. Following the main gathering, breakout prayer groups will meet to pray specifically for local schools, students, families, and community leaders. Everyone is welcome to attend and unite in prayer for Jackson County.

This gathering is open to the public, without regard to church affiliation. A nondenominational gathering at the Perry County courthouse lawn in Linden, TN. Lay individuals from various churches in the county will lead prayers in the areas designated. Event is fast-moving, treated as a lunch hour event so that working individuals can attend. 

Worship will begin at 11:30 am until 12pm. Various citizens from church, business, schools and neighbors are selected to lead our community in prayer to cry out to God in the Name of Jesus the Christ to forgive, heal and restore our land to righteousness. To call out to the Lord for Awakening and Revival for all souls of our nation. 

Church and Community Leaders will meet at 12pm and 7pm at the Loudon County Courthouse to pray. We will have Pastors and Community Leaders pray for each topic. 

This event is organized by Loudon County Baptist Association.

Greenhouse Ministries has hosted this breakfast for over 23 years and the local Rutherford County Mayors are all the official hosts. 

It is open to the public and all are welcome! This year it is held at MTSU student ballroom.  Tickets are $10 and available at greenhousemin.org 

This is an amazing event we love hosting each year!! We begin at 9 a.m. on Wednesday (May 6th) morning and ready straight through for about 96 hours and it ends on Saturday night at midnight (May 9th) 

We read from Genesis to Revelation out loud into the atmosphere. Each reading is broken up in to 30 min segments.  It is open to the public and we welcome all to join in on the reading or just stop by and listen! 

Located in the Old Supreme Court Chambers on the 1st floor of the TN State Capitol...this will be a gathering to pray for our nation and state. We will be joined by governmental leaders that believe in the power of prayer and understand the significance of the National Day of Prayer.

If you’ve been needing a moment to slow down, refocus, or just be in a room where people are going after God together—this is that.
