State Events
Our gathering will be done via teleconference for 24 hours. We are using a teleconference number supplied by FreeConferenceCall.Com. People from all over the world are invited to join groups led by volunteers for prayer, song, testimonies, and exhortations throughout the day from 6 am on Thursday, May 7th to 6 am on Friday, May 8th. Last year we had over 1100 callers from as far away as Nigeria.
A celebration and prayer meeting will be held in Talleyrand Park on 7 May at noon. There will be a couple short talks followed by small group or individual prayer for our nation and community. All are welcome!

On Thursday, May 7th, 7 p.m., the 23rd annual observance of the National Day of Prayer sponsored by the Greater Carbondale Area Ministerium, will be held at the Carbondale train station, Trinity Place. The Bible says, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord”, a blessing that is not only for nations, but communities, families and individuals as well.
Preceding the service and beginning at 6:30 p.m. local church musicians will present a half-hour concert of well-known hymns and contemporary Christian music. Please bring your own seating. If the weather is inclement, the service will be held in the sanctuary of the Trinity Episcopal Church, Trinity Place next to the train station.
