All residents, friends, churches, government, and marketplace leaders are invited to this Judeo-Christian National Day of Prayer Observance. May we come to glorify God among the nations, seeking Him in all generations.

Families are welcome, and there will be a designated section for kids during the event. For those who are unable to attend in person, the gathering will also be livestreamed, allowing many others to join in prayer from wherever they are.

The Lima chapter of the National Day of Prayer Task Force has called believers to prayer on this day for more than 30 years and continues with passion to mobilize community prayer for our city, county, state and nation.

We will share a potluck-style breakfast, prayer and a word of encouragement from Rev. Michael Wilson, pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church in Medina. There is no charge to attend.

There will be 16 prayer stations posted around the Square. Fields United Methodist Church will host a community-wide observance of the National Day of Prayer on May 1, 2025. The event runs from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., providing an open invitation for individuals seeking solace and reflection in these challenging times.

Participants are encouraged to come throughout the day for moments of personal contemplation and communal connection. The daylong event aims to serve as a sanctuary for contemplation amid today's turbulent societal backdrop. As part of its commitment to fostering spiritual growth within the community, resources will be available to guide attendees in their spiritual journey as they pray for families, nation, and global issues.

Fields United Methodist Church stands on two centuries of history having celebrated our bicentennial celebration in 2025. True to our mission statement—'Fields UMC is where we gather, grow, and go'—the congregation continues to advocate unity through acts like this year's National Day of Prayer event.

This year's keynote speaker will be J. Frank Harrison III  Chairman & CEO of Coca-Cola Consolidated.  As the fourth-generation family leader of what has become the nation's largest Coca-Cola bottler, Frank is focused on creating a culture of servant leaders whose values and actions honor God.  

We are honored to have Frank Harrison III as our Keynote speaker at the NWOPE this year.

We will have an ecumenical service featuring multiple local Christian bands and artists performing a variety of contemporary music and hymns, with several local pastors praying between each artist or group. Additionally, we will be praying over the local Police Force, Firefighters, and EMTs, as well as Military Personnel, our town, our nation, and the world. 

The faith community will be gathering together at noon in the Founders Park of Trenton, Ohio. Various Faith and Community Leaders will lead in a time of prayer.

This is an interactive, participatory prayer event.

The Mahoning County National Day of Prayer Event will be held at the corner of Market St. and Federal St. in downtown Youngstown from noon to 1:00 p.m. There will be music, the pledge of allegiance, the National Anthem, and a lot of prayer. We will be praying over city and county leaders, as well as law enforcement and other emergency workers. We will be paying for our city, our county, our nation, our children, against violence, against drug dealing and drug addiction, and more. This is a Christ-centered event.
