Join us for worship and fellowship as we observe the National Day of Prayer at the Arlington CIty Auditorium.  Pizza and drinks will be provided!  Everyone is welcome!

This will be an all day affair with nine churches participating every 45 minutes to worship, pray, communicate a message of hope and faith. After the final church is done, a special program will begin with the Columbus Area Vertical Voices, a non-denominational group of singers from the community who love to sing praises to his name for the purpose of gathering to profess our faith through song to our Lord Jesus Christ. 

This year we have invited a special speaker and worship leader, Jeff Deyo to Columbus, a pastor, worship leader, author, songwriter and speaker. He is known internationally as the former lead singer of the Grammy-nominated, Dove Award-winning group, Sonicflood and lives to help people of all ages grow closer to God. Christ Lutheran School will once again come together in faith and unity to observe the National Day of Prayer. This special event is a time for our school family to lift our voices and hearts in prayer for our community, our nation, and our world.

During the program, students will sing, recite Scripture, and offer heartfelt prayers for all those in need of God’s grace and healing. With this year’s theme rooted in Romans 15:13, we are reminded of the hope, joy, and peace that come through trusting in the Lord.

Please join us as we celebrate the power of prayer and the promises of God with our Christ-centered community. All are welcome!

The South door of the church will be un-locked for private prayer, 7 - 7, with a short service at 6:00 pm.  Please sign the guset book.  It is open for all.

Peace Lutheran Church will be hosting a Concert of Prayer at 7 pm.  The event will include music and four movements of time for prayer for our families, churches, community, and world. Participants will gather in prayer circles to pray together during each movement.  Prayer guides will be provided.

LifeHouse Church will host an evening of worship and prayer for the seven mountains which influence our culture.

Angus McGee will provide meals for the entire family, and Special Scoops Ice Cream truck will be set up in the church parking lot prior to the start of the event. 

Please join us for a family friendly evening which will also teach your children how to pray for our nation. 

We are gathering for prayer at the La Vistas City Hall.  It will include a time for silent and volunteer public prayers.

Join Nebraska Family Alliance, Governor Pillen, and Senator Bosn at noon on Thursday, May 1, 2025, in the Nebraska State Capitol Warner Chamber for a National Day of Prayer observance led by faith, community, and government leaders.

Parking is available on streets surrounding the Capitol and the east side of Trinity Lutheran’s lot (724 S 12th St, Lincoln, NE). The event will be streamed on Facebook Live for those unable to attend in person.

Join us to worship, honor and pray to almighty God, the eternal God of Hope, during this time of great shaking and transition in our nation.  Together we will humble ourselves, seek His face and repent.  We will thank Him for His word revealing His character of love, faithfulness, hope, compassion, justice, truth and righteousness.  We will turn to Him, asking Him to heal the land of Nebraska and our nation.  We will pray for His ways and His will to be done in York County, the Four Corners, Nebraska, the USA, and for His favor and glory to cover and fill our area, as the waters cover the seas.
