We will gather on the steps of the Hancock County Courthouse at 152 Main Street, Bay Saint Louis for prayer for our nation and our communities for one hour on the 7th.

The Choir Room at Crossgates Church will be open from 7 AM until 7 PM for times of come-and-go prayer throughout the day. Prayer guides will be available.

There will be an outdoor community-wide prayer service on the steps of Clinton City Hall.

Court House in Columbia, MS

The local observance of the 2026 National Day of Prayer will be held on the lawn of the Lowndes County Courthouse, 505 2nd Ave. North, Columbus MS, at Noon on Thursday, May 7th. The program of prayer and praise will conclude at 12:45 pm. Seating will be available. In case of inclement weather, the event will move to the YMCA gymnasium, 602 2nd Ave. North, Columbus. 

We will be meeting at the historic Fillmore Street Chapel this year (901 Fillmore Street, Corinth, MS.)  There will be Prayer, Praise and Fellowship.  Join us to cover our nation in prayer in the name of Jesus Christ.

Join us on the Downtown Square for a time of dedication and declaration as we pray for our nation, state and city and each other.

City of Jackson Mayor Horhn will open with a welcome message at 5 pm.  Following "Set Fire" from Crystal Springs, MS will lead in praise and worship. Concert of Prayer will begin at 5:30 with prayer participants from all generations across MS.  Honorable MS Officials will lead prayer: MS Representatives, Dan Eubanks and Celeste Hurst, MS Supreme Court Justice, Jenifer Branning, and MDAC Commissioner, Andy Gipson.

National Day of Prayer for the East Lauderdale Community Churches will be held at Marion Community Church located at 5601 Clinton Street, Marion, Ms. beginning at 5:45pm on May 7,2026.

In this 250th year of America’s independence from an earthly king, we come to You, King of Kings, to give You all glory, honor, and praise. In faith, we declare our dependence and dedication to You, God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, for You alone are our Creator and Salvation. We come humbly to confess our sins and receive Your forgiveness. Today, in the presence of God and one another, we gather to pray, to celebrate, and to rededicate ourselves to You personally and in covenant as “One Nation Under God,” to love You with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, to love our neighbor as You have loved us, pray fervently, and tell of Your glory and goodness to all peoples as we abide in You and Your Word abides in our hearts now, and forevermore. The Natchez Ministerial Alliance members are gathering to prayer with and for concerns of citizens, law enforcement, and city and county officials for the needs of the city, county, state and nation.     The gathering will be held at the Natchez Bandstand on the Bluff, 107 South Broadway, Natchez, MS.  (If it rains the gathering will be held in a ballroom at the nearby Grand Hotel.)  The theme is "A Community in Unity Under Christ," based on Psalm 133:`1 "How good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity." 

Greyhounds for Christ high school organization is partnering with the Ocean Springs National Day of Prayer committee to host the Ocean Springs, MS, National Day of Prayer event in Greyhound Stadium on Thursday, May 7th, at 6:30 p.m.  By meeting in the evening, families, educators, city leaders, and students may all participate as we lift our hearts to the LORD for our city, state, and nation.  This will be a gathering for worship and prayer for the family, military, workplace, government, church, media, and education.  Special emphasis will be placed on praying for the next generation so we encourage young people to come.

Dr. Heindl (President,NWCC) will give the welcome and Cynthia Todd, MS NDP Regional Coordinator will explain the prayer process. NWCC FCA now sponsors NWNDP. There will be seven prayer participants representing the seven spheres of influence. Speaker and Author, Beau Neil (author, speaker, missionary) will present the effects of prayer and how they relate to seed time and harvest. Bless your own land! Seven college students from Northwest Community College will represent the new generations ( Fellowship of Christian Athletes) around the seven tables. Interview with AFR on April 17,’26. Listen in! This will be our 32nd yr out of the 75th yr Celebration &Anniversary of “Our” National Day of Prayer. Magnolia Heights students have never missed an event.Much appreciation for their prayer seeds into their own futures far and wide.
