The National Day of Prayer is Thursday, May 1. We know our nation is in desperate need of prayer. Let’s all join together on this day to pray for God’s mercy, forgiveness and mighty redeeming power to transform our nation back to one that fears and honors the Lord.

We invite you to join us at 6pm at our Apple Valley Campus of River Valley Church to pray for our nation. 

Join us for a special National Day of Prayer gathering on Thursday, May 1, from 7:00–8:00 p.m. at GGM as we unite our hearts to pray for our nation, our leaders, and our communities. This is a time to seek God's guidance, healing, and blessing together in faith and unity. Let's stand in the gap for our nation, together!

Join us as we mark National Day of Prayer with an Ecumenical Breakfast on Thursday, May 1st at 8:00 a.m.!  We are thrilled to be hosting nationally reknown author, speaker and UMC pastor Jane Rubietta.

Jane will lighten our spirits with her great sense of humor while also rooting us in the word of Jesus.

Come gather together near the flagpole at the entrance to the Buffalo Police Station with us on May 1st at 12noon to pray together for our community, state, and nation.  We will follow a short order of service and use the National Day of Prayer guides. Hosted by St. John's Lutheran Church.

Come and invite your friends and family as we gather together with area churches to lift up our nation in prayer during this crucial time! Led by Pastor Mark Anderson, we will gather together for a time of structured prayer for our nation, our state, and our community. This is a family-friendly event, so if you are a SAHM, bring your children to join us in prayer. There will not be child care; instead we invite young ones to pray with us. A light lunch will be served.

 Pastors Linda Freeman and Brian Burton of the Evangelical Covenant Church of Cook convened another year's National Day of Prayer observance by welcoming individuals from the community to gather by the flagpole at the Cook, MN City Hall and pray for all of our leaders and those in authority at every level:  township, city, county, state, and federal governments, police, fire fighters, EMS crews, hospitals, clinics, and churches.  Those in attendance each prayed and there was a wonderful spirit of unity in Christ witnessed.

Duluth-National Day of Prayer

Please come and join us outside the Duluth City Hall, we will worship and pray for our city, state, nation and Israel! All are welcome! This years theme is Pour out to the God of hope and be filled Romans 15:13.

It will be held rain or shine so come dressed for the weather!

The prayer service will be from 7 to 8pm in the church sanctuary. Interactive prayer stations will be available from 6 to 9pm in the community room.

It is a privilege to gather as a body of believers for our nation on the 74th annual National Day of Prayer. We are honored to have church and community members lead out with prayer points for each section of need (church, family, education, arts/entertainment/media), business/workplace, law enforcement/military, and government) followed by prayers at tables. We will gather at noon on the north side of the courthouse in the military memorial rain or shine. 

God promises to pour out His Spirit and His blessing when His people pray. Too often we encounter spiritual drought in our lives, in our families, in our churches, in our community, in our nation, in our culture, and in the world simply because Christians take God's providence for granted and do not pray. Let's take a different approach. Yes, God will have will purpose in the world. So rather than sit back and wait for it, let's join Him in accomplishing His purpose in our day by praying and seeking Him today.

For those who cannot pray at 11:00 a.m., we will host an addition prayer service from 6:30 to 8:30.

We have the privilege to ask, seek, and knock...Let us take advantage of our privilege and seek the Lord while He may be found.

The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May.  It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman.

We look forward to having you join us at the Lakeville City Hall on Thursday, May 1, 2025 from Noon to 1PM.  We will pray as a community for our city, state, and nation.  We will open and close with VFW members presenting/retiring the colors and we will recite the Pledge of Allegiance.  A local pastor will lead us in prayer and a worship leader will lead us in songs.  Free program and prayer guides will be provided.  Please feel free to bring your family, friends, and neighbors.

National Day of Prayer – Healing of the Nations

Come together for a powerful time of unity and intercession at our Healing of the Nations service in observance of the National Day of Prayer. This sacred gathering will center on seeking God's healing and restoration for our world. Through heartfelt prayer, Scripture, and worship, we will raise our voices as one, pleading for peace, justice, and renewal in every nation.

All are welcome to join us as we pray for a world made whole

An ecumenical, community gathering of Christians to pray for our nation and sing hymns of hope. 

We will be hosting a 7 PM community prayer service in our sanctuary.

Our sanctuary will be open for prayer between 9 AM and 5 PM on Thursday May 1. Anyone willing to come, even for a little while, is welcome to join us.

The National Day of Prayer Gathering will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 1 in front of the City Center in West Hills by the flag pole in Owatonna, Minnesota. It will be a gathering of Christians to pray for our nation, our state and our community. 

Meet at Calvary Chapel Red Wing for a night of prayer for our city, state and country and our leaders! 

Rice Area Churches are Participating in National Day of Prayer. Supper will be served from 5-6:15pm. Prayer service will be at 6:30pm

This is our 9th annual prayer breakfast formerly known as the Mayor's Prayer Breakfast.

We begin  with an amazing buffet and fellowship.

Then Mayor Norton reads the Proclamation calling the city to prayer.  

Several Pastors and City officials pray, MN Adult & teen challenge men's choir sings and the children from American Heritage girls and Trail Life Boys lead in the pledge of allegiance.

The Mayor says a few words and we give her a gift and we close.

All are welcome to come to Regional Worship Center to pray for each other and our country. 

Join us at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 1st, for worship on the steps of the Minnesota State Capitol. Our official prayer observance will be 12-1:15 p.m. We look forward to worshipping the Lord, agreeing in prayer with our guest prayer leaders, and seeking the Lord with expectant HOPE for His best in restoring the heart of our state and nation to Him.

Join us for a special breakfast hosted by Child Evangelism Fellowship, where we’ll unite in worship and prayer for the next generation. As we gather, we want to discuss how we can equip those around us to share the Gospel. We know that you have a passion for sharing God’s love, and we can’t wait to share in community with you!

You’ll have the opportunity to connect with fellow leaders, exchange ideas, and discover ways to empower those we serve in communicating the Gospel effectively. If you work with children or youth, we would love to have you join us. Together, we can make a significant impact, standing united as the body of Christ for the youth and children of our world.

Feel free to bring a guest—whether it’s a spouse, a volunteer, or a fellow leader—so we can strengthen our community together.

We are celebrating this year’s National Day Of Prayer! We will have a Prayer Service together beginning at Noon followed by a light lunch at 1:00 pm. All are welcome to join us in this event! 

We are having this event over the lunch hour to encourage all to come and pray The Church, America, Government, Families, etc. 

[A “To-go” lunch will be offered for those who need to return to work or others who are short on time!]
