For the past 8 years, we have been holding monthly prayer gatherings to pray for what America most desperately needs: Revival and Spiritual Awakening. We are now seeing God wonderfully answering our prayers with the rise of Gen Z groups locally and elsewhere whose members are fervently in love with Jesus and eagerly share their faith with others. 

We have a special gathering on May 2 this year. Yes, we will spend time in prayer for revival and spiritual awakening. But we will also have as our guest someone known on local TV as Maranda. Maranda is the WOTV 4 Women kids and family expert. She hosts a daily segment, “Where You Live” which features a combination of information, inspiration and insights for West Michigan parents. It’s taped around West Michigan and is about real family life. She is also a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ and will share how a genuine Christians can thrive and be a real light in our modern American media.

We collect people from many churches in Lake City to pray at the flagpole by the courthouse in Lake City.   

Come celebrate the 73rd annual National Day of Prayer on the lawn of the Lansing State Capitol on Thursday, May 2 from 11am - 1pm. Bring a lawn chair to worship and pray with us. It's also a great opportunity for youth groups, bible studies, or small groups to plan a field trip to our MI State Capitol. (see attached flyer for details)

Prayer warriors will be gathered from 5-7pm to pray for the needs of others.  Drive through our parking lot and allow us to pray with you.  You may stay in your car for prayer or step out for a little while for fellowship if you'd like to.

Way of Life is hosting a National Day of Prayer with six pastors around the Metro-Detroit area.  Each pastor will pray into one of the mountains of influence.

The National Day of Prayer observance is coming on May 2nd, marking the 73rd annual observance in the the United States of America, and our 34th year observing this event in our work space.

Those planning to be “on-site” in Livonia tomorrow are invited to gather near the center drive circle at the former T4 headquarters flag pole area. Those “off-site” can join through a Teams Meeting session running (via my phone or my computer) to plug into our gathering. Even if you are not able to join us, take some time from your day to simply acknowledge our reliance on God and our gratitude for His abundant provisions including family, work, colleagues, health, and freedom of religious expression.

The theme for this year is “LIFT UP THE WORD, LIGHT UP THE WORLD” which is based on II Samuel 22:29-31 “For you are my lamp, O Lord, and my God lightens my darkness. For by You I can run against a troop, and by my God I can leap over a wall. This God—his way is perfect; the word of the Lord proves true; He is a shield for all those who take refuge in Him.”

Looking forward to meeting with those available to exalt this God whose way is perfect. We will intentionally ask His favor & guidance on our country, our families, and our workplace in the middle of our work day. Our program will include:

Our NDP Mason, Michigan community event has 7 different "pray-ers" covering our seven points of prayer. Government, media, family, church, business, education and military will be covered. Worship music will be interspersed with the prayers all under the skies of downtown.

The 73rd annual National Day of Prayer is Thursday, May 2. Oceana County residents may join thousands of people across the nation to participate in this annual event by gathering locally at The Ladder Community Center, 67 N. State Street in Shelby from 12-1:00 p.m.

President Harry S. Truman proclaimed a National Day of Prayer to be observed on July 4, 1952. Each year since that date, Americans have observed the day in their own way. The observance moved to the first Thursday in May by President Ronald Reagan and has been proclaimed each year since. The theme for this year’s event is “Lift up the Word, light up the world” (2 Samuel 22:29-31).

Local leaders representing Government, Education, Media, the Military, Church and the Family will be on hand to facilitate our prayer time. Those who gather may pray silently or in small groups. We will close our time with the singing of God Bless the USA!
