Churches in Calvert County, MD will be uniting together in prayer in observance of the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 2.  We will be joining together in worship and having church leaders from our various congregation coming together to lift our communities and nation up in prayer.

A public servant will give a short testimony on the power of prayer in his life as a police officer.

The church will remain open all day for prayer. The church will gather at 6:30PM for corporate prayer meeting.

We will host a free breakfast with a testimony of prayer from a local law enforcement officer.

RSVP to Office@meetbethel.org. This will ensure that we prepare enough food for those in attendance and praying.

On May 2 (National Day of Prayer) the church will be open from 6 am to 10 pm.  Come and pray for our nation, God's guidance and people to turn their hearts back to God.  You are welcome to pray alone or Pastor Doug will pray with you.  Just take a few minutes to stop in and talk to God.

Ocean City Christian Ministers Association, Inc. invites you to join them in observance of the National Day of Prayer.  Thursday, May 2nd, at noon, in front of City Hall.  Let us come together to pray, uniting in worship, fellowship, and service.

We will be having a service the Wednesday night before the National Day of Prayer. We will worship in song then spend several minutes praying at different prayer stations around the room for the 7 centers of influence plus a prayer station for Israel. We will conclude by gathering together for a closing prayer. This will take place in the Glen Morris Center at the far right side of the church building.

Afternoon 12:30 - 1:30 pm (Auditorium) - (a) 7 prayers focused on family, church, government, media, including spiritual warfare, the impact on the nations.  (b) Keynote Devotional on prayer.  (c) Fellowship

Late Afternoon 4:15 - 4:30 pm (Outside) - (a) Circle of prayer surrounding the flagpoles.  (b) Prayers focused on protection and guidance for the Military, Police, EMS, and the Country.

Each year the first Thursday in May is designated as the National Day of Prayer for America. People across this great nation will be meeting in churches, homes, and various public places to pray for our nation. Sheriff James DeWees would like to invite you to join with him and other members of law enforcement, government, and the justice system for this year’s Annual Sheriff's Prayer Breakfast. 

One of the goals of this event is to honor those who serve our country and Carroll County as public servants. Our desire is to publicly seek the guidance, protection, and blessing of Almighty God upon their lives, their families, and their service to the community. We sincerely hope that you will be able to attend.
