An all-day prayer & worship event, allowing for participants to come and go as they desire throughout the day, to pray for our country & communities & seek God's face.

7:35am-  Opening Ceremony

8:15am-  Light Breakfast. RSVP's preferred but not necessary. (Donations accepted.)

10am   -  Prayer for Healing of all in need

11:15am- Intercessors for America Broadcast

12:30am- Prayer for Education, Moms in Prayer

Throughout the day introductions by speakers, prayer & worship related to these pillars of influence: military, government, education, family, business, arts/media/entertainment, church. Corporate and individual prayer venues.

7:00pm-   National Day of Prayer Broadcast

8:30pm-   Closing Ceremony

I will begin the observance with a word of introduction, the 2026 National Prayer, and a song. 

Following the introduction various individuals from different backgrounds have been asked to be present to say a prayer for their specific groups (Mayor for Government; Veteran for Military; Pastor for Church; Teacher for Education; Small Town Business Owner for Business; A mother and daughter for Families). In the middle of these prayers another song will be sung.

We will conclude with praying The Lord's Prayer and closing in song.

Join us at Britt Evangelical Free Church for a prayer and worship service. There will be prayer guides available.

We will gather around the flag to pray for our country, our community, our leaders and our world. If we have inclement weather, we will meet in the school gym.

Doors open at 6- Join us for the National Day of Prayer & worship at Springs of Life Church. 

No childcare is available.

Location: All Veterans Memorial Park at Veterans Memorial Drive & Kurt Warner Blvd, 950 Rockford Rd SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404   In the same parking lot as the Kingston Football Stadium and the Kernels baseball stadium.

We will gather as one according to John 17:21-23.  We will thank God for blessings us a individuals, families and as a nation.  We will ask God for His guidance in every aspect of our lives and nation.  Our prayer topics will include but not limited to: families, marriage, education, government, business community, military, media, arts & entertainment, restoration of the hearts of fathers to their children and children to their fathers, generational unity in our society according to Philippians 1:27, and more. 

We will adhere to Ephesians 4:29 "Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth, but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment, so that it will give grace to those who hear". 

Philippians 1:27 "Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or remain absent, I will hear about you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;..."

Join us in prayer and worship at Riverview Park in front of the bandshell.  Rain or shine, bring your own seating.  

A time for the Church to come together in worship and prayer for the sake of our city, state and country.

The Family Leader is hosting the Iowa Capitol's National Day of Prayer with the goal to bring prayer leaders together across our city to publicly celebrate and participate in this spiritually significant day. We seek to gather in unity to worship God in song, seek the Lord, and pray for the welfare of our communities and state.

Garner Efree Church will have the main entry doors open at 11:15 to welcome any who want to join others in prayer. There will be some prayer guides available. Starts 11:30 and concludes at 12:30. Come and go as needed. 

Doors open at 8:30 am.

This is a meaningful opportunity for our community to come together in faith and unity as we lift up our nation in prayer. Our time together will include a time of worship, Scripture, and prayer led by local leaders. Whether you come every year or this is your first time, all are welcome.

Open to all Northwest Iowa.

We plan on having a color gaurd, trumpet solo playing the National Anthem, worship with traditional hymns  and prayerful stanzas of "America the Beautiful" and "My Country Tis of Thee." Rob Roozeboom will be our keynote speaker.  We need God's wisdom and guidance in our nation as we have a history of prayer and the importance of being one nation under God.

Join us as we observe our nation's 250th and the 75th anniversary of National Day of Prayer.
