CARMEL, Ind., March 12, 2026 – All are cordially invited to attend the National Day of Prayer annual prayer observance on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 12-1 p.m. at the Carmel City Hall. The area gathering meets in the City Council Chambers on the second floor, located at 1 Civic Square, Carmel, IN, 46032.

Join us at the Historic Lake County Courthouse (northeast patio) as we gather to praise our great God and to pray for His direction, protection, and strength.

Serving Hendricks County and the surrounding area as we come together to lift up our concerns to the Lord. It's being held at the Train Station Building in Ellis Park located just off the entrance from Main St.

On this 75th anniversary of the National Day of Prayer and celebrating the 250th anniversary of America we must gather together in unity under the banner of Jesus Christ and pray. We will gather in a beautiful park and open with National Anthem and then worship to our God. Then during our prayer time we will have specific prayer focuses of church, family, government, military, education, business and media. We moved the time from noon to 6pm in the evening so those working can come. Please come together, all ages are welcome, can bring lawn chairs if standing for a hour is difficult. This is a great time to come together in faith knowing that our founding fathers called on Almighty God at our nations birth and we must do the same as the great Ronald Reagan said “ If we ever forget we’re one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under.”

Legacy Bible Church, located at 13490 Howe Road, Fishers, IN 46038, was founded on the basis of the Great Commission given by Jesus to His followers in Matthew 28 following His resurrection. Specifically, that commission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ, teaching them to observe all that Jesus commanded. Two fundamentals at Legacy are in-depth preaching of the Bible and mature worship of the one true God as revealed in Holy Scripture.  Prayer is a vital part of every Christian's life and we bring together all those those wanting to pray on this National Day of Prayer to lift up the concerns of our Nation and her peoples.  All are invited to attend and participate.

On Thursday, May 7, 2026, the Franklin community is coming together for a heartfelt time of worship, scripture, and prayer — right in the heart of our city. Whether you've attended before or this is your very first National Day of Prayer, you are warmly welcome.

This year's beautiful theme, "Glorify God Among the Nations — Seeking Him in All Generations," reminds us that prayer isn't just something we do alone — it's something we do together, across every generation, every background, and every walk of life. We'll be lifting up our families, our schools, our first responders, our city leaders, and so much more.

The gathering will be held outdoors on the grounds in front of Franklin City Hall from 12:00 to 12:45 PM, weather permitting. If the weather doesn't cooperate, we'll simply move inside to the City Hall chambers — same address, same spirit. 

You can look forward to worship, a reading of Scripture, brief words from Franklin's own civic leaders, and an intimate time of small-group prayer guided by local pastors — covering our first responders and healthcare workers, our schools and educators, and our local and national government.

Come as you are. Bring a neighbor, a coworker, or a friend. Let's seek God together as one Franklin community.

Mishawaka Day of Prayer: Community, Reflection, and Song

Join us for the annual Mishawaka Day of Prayer, a dedicated one-hour program of reflection, prayer, and song, held at Noon on the first Thursday in May. This event is the culmination of year-long commitment from organizers and is free to attend.

Parke county ministerical association will have a 7:00 pm service in Rockville on the court house lawn, with

Multiple Pastors speaking about the different prayer subjects associated with the Day of Prayer. .

This is the sixth year we have observed.  Our service on May 7 is open to the community. Seven Pastors will give a prayer for each of the seven areas of influence. 

Please feel free to join us as we pray for our nation, our city and surrounding area.  Come for any length of time that is comfortable for you. We will be there to welcome you!

Come out to worship during the National Day of Prayer. There will be multiple speakers all focusing on different areas of prayer life, worship music and fellowship. This is a free event and is open to the public. It will take place at the Gazebo in City Hall park. 

Students of Eastside Christian Academy will be leading the National Day of Prayer at the steps of City Hall. Mayor Sakbun will begin the event by opening in prayer, and the event will be held by student-led worship and prayer teams.

As our world and nation faces challenges, we come together as a community to look to God for mercy, wisdom, and deliverance. Regardless of our political or denominational background, we humbly join in prayer to bring the various components of our nation to God in prayer. Various community leaders will lead in prayer related to the various areas of concern in our community, state, and nation. Others will have the opportunity to pray, as time permits. The event will begin with the singing of “America the Beautiful” and end on time to allow people on a tight schedule to get back to work on time.

The community is invited to join us to pray for our nation! A representative from each pillar of influence will share briefly, their praises and prayer requests for that area of influence. Sharing time will be followed by a time to pray. We will gather in the big pavilion at the city park and invite people to bring their lawn chairs. The event will be available virtually on Facebook.
