Each year we meet to join in prayer at the DeSoto County Commission Chambers. Pastors, Local Government officials, School Board, Health Dept., DeSoto Correctional Institution, Farmers, Military and High School students are represented and prayers offered for and by each. The program starts at noon, and usually lasts about an hour.

NDP Volusia is a county wide gathering of the church and community to pray for our county, state, and nation. Our prayer emphasis starts with 21 Days of Prayer that lead up to the National Day of Prayer on the first Thursday of May (May 7th).

Leading up to National Day of Prayer on May 7st
Join us for the 21 Days of Prayer leading up to the National Day of Prayer in Volusia County! Starting on April 16th, each evening at 6 or 7 PM, a different church across the county will host a powerful time of prayer and reflection. This community-wide event invites people of all faiths to unite in prayer, lifting up our nation, leaders, and communities. Together, we will strengthen our faith and prepare for the National Day of Prayer on May 7th. Let’s come together in one spirit and make these 21 days a time of worship and prayer as one church in Volusia!

On Thursday, May 7th, we will come together at the News-Journal Center, 221 N Beach St. Daytona Beach, FL 32114, for a night of unified prayer. There is a Celebration of Unity that begins at 5:30 PM. Join us as our community comes together for the National Day of Prayer, a time to pause, reflect, and unite in prayer for our nation, our leaders, and our community. Hosted by the National Christian Foundation of South Florida in conjunction with Ocean Church.  We will gather in the parking lot of Ocean Church - Estero to pray together with pastors and ministry leaders across denominations from the local area. Chairs and water are provided.  Bring your own sunglasses and sunscreen.

We will gather to pray for our nation, our state and our city. We will have multiple groups to pray in English and Chinese. Please join us as we pray for our country.

VFW Post #7909 proudly hosts the National Day of Prayer to honor our military, first responders, leaders, families, and community. This special event unites people of all faiths in prayer for our nation’s strength, peace, and unity. Local clergy, veteran chaplains, and community leaders will lead prayers focused on service, sacrifice, and hope for America’s future.

A gathering of God's people to pray for Jacksonville, the State of Florida, and the United States of America.

Shepherd of the Woods Lutheran Church, 7860 Southside Boulevard in Jacksonville, Florida will be participating in the National Day of Prayer on May 7th,2026. We will begin the all-day prayer vigil at 6am with the morning prayer office known as Matins. The Sanctuary will be open all day for unstructured contemplation and meditation for an awakening of faith in Christ, an increase in discipleship among the faithful, for our nation, and for world peace. Various prayer offices will be held throughout the day. Suffrages will occur at Noon. An evening Vespers prayer office will held at 5pm and Compline at 8pm will conclude the vigil. All are welcome to pray with us. 

A gathering of Pastors, Ministry Leaders, elected officials, and prayer warriors who will lead our City in praying for Jacksonville, the State of Florida, and America. 

Visitors please come to pray welcomed and supported by congregants, exclusive of regular church staff. Hours conducive to before or after work. 

Join us for a National Day of Prayer observance in Key Largo at the Key Largo Fire and Rescue Station #24.  We will gather at the Key Largo Volunteer Fire Museum.

Evening Service at BC1BC is coming together for the National Day of Prayer observance.  The community is invited.

We invite fellow believers in Jesus Christ, to join us as we gather together as one to pray.

There will also be 75th Nat'l Day of Prayer Celebration at the Sheriff's Offices from 6:30pm to 8PM.

North Lake Presbyterian Church will host the National Day of Prayer in the Sanctuary at 11:00 a.m. This gathering is open to all and offers a time for the community to come together in prayer and reflection. All are welcome to attend and participate.

Believers from Columbia County and the surrounding area will gather at Olustee Park in Lake City, Florida. The park is located in front of the Courthouse and City Hall.

Good Life 45 invites our partners and the community of believers in Central Florida to join us at the station to pray for our nation. We will be meeting from 11:30am – 12:30pm. All are welcome, even if you can only come for 15 minutes – please join us. America is at a crossroads where it will either continue in it’s evil and moral decline, or the Church will choose to stand with courage and boldness and pray for our nation to return to our one true God. Prayer is a great starting point.

The event, which has sold-out its seating in all prior years, takes place at The Grand Manor, 1450 Sarno Road, Melbourne FL.

The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people to pray for the nation.

This marks the 75th National Day of Prayer. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman.

And, on the National Day of Prayer, May 7th, 2026, believers from around the United States will gather together to seek God.

Somebody Cares Pasco is once again sponsoring a National Day of Prayer gathering, May 7, at the Pasco County Government Bld. off Little Rd. 8731 Citizens Dr, New Port Richey, FL 34654, 12 noon- 1pm. It will begin with Praise & Worship followed by prayers lead by area leaders. We will be following the outline of prayer points developed by the National Day of Prayer task force.

The Twin Cities Ministerial Association (TCMA) is sponsoring the National Day of Prayer event on the steps to  Niceville City Hall on May 7, 2026.  Pre-service music will begin at 11:30 AM provided by the Rocky Bayou Christian School Chorus and Band.  The Prayer service will begin at 12-noon with welcomes given by the mayors of Niceville and Valparaiso.  Prayers will be offered by various pastors representing the churches in the Twin-Cities area.  

The 2026 National Day of Prayer at Orlando City Hall in Downtown Orlando will be a powerful gathering of unity, faith, and intercession for our city and nation. Leaders, pastors, business professionals, elected officials, families, and community members will stand together in one accord, seeking God’s wisdom, peace, and guidance over every sphere of influence.

This is more than an event; it is a sacred call to align our hearts, humble ourselves, and pray for the flourishing of our community. Together, we will lift our voices in faith and expectation, believing for healing, restoration, and renewed hope for our city and beyond. All are welcome to join as we unite in prayer and purpose.

This will be our 2nd year hosting the National Day of Prayer at our local church.  What a chance for the saints to come in unity with the same cause lifting up the name of Jesus.  Come and join us and let the power of God be in demonstration.

Our Central Putnam Ministerial Fellowship is honored to once again participate and facilitate the National Day of Prayer.  Our host location/church is Saint James Independent Methodist Church, located on Reid Street in downtown Palatka, Florida directly across the street from the county courthouse.  A variety of pastors and ministry leaders will be participating and the community is welcome to join us. We will begin promptly at 12 noon and end at 1:00.

Come and spend a few moments in prayer with other believers for our nation.  You will be provided a handout which includes areas where prayer is needed.  Our nation needs prayer. 

Join us in the courtyard of Pensacola City Hall for a time of giving God glory and seeking Him!   It is our biblical mandate to also give thanks and intercession for our leaders ('all those in authority') and contend for a Great Awakening in our land.

We will meet at the Plant City City Hall located at 302 W Reynolds St, Plant City, FL 33563 at noon on May 7th. We will have live music from 11:30 am to noon, then at noon we will begin our time of prayer. There are many area pastors who are coming together to pray over our city. Everyone is welcome to come and spend an hour of prayer. If you are unable to make it to City Hall at that time, you will be able to watch the live stream on YouTube or Facebook. Just go to the Youmans Praise & Worship Center YouTube channel and you will be able to see the live stream or the replay later. We will gather for a time of worship and prayer.  There will be a Kids ministry from birth to through elementary available. Elementary age will have an age appropriate prayer service simultaneously. 

This is a Kids prayer service (elementary age) in coordination with Assembly Church’s National Day of Prayer Service. For your child to participate, the parent or guardian must attend the adult prayer service in the sanctuary. 

There will be a gathering of prayer on May 7, 2026 to unite with others across the nation to call out upon God for our local, state and national leaders. The event will be held outside (under the covered porch) in front of the St. Johns County Administrative Building. The time will include: worship, reading of scripture, reflection on the National Day of Prayer theme, but most importantly prayer. Pastors, civic leaders and students will lead out in prayer based on assigned categories. We also seek God for another Great Awakening in America. 

It’s America’s 250th Year Anniversary! Join us for this special morning as we pray for Broward, our nation, and each other in Sunrise, FL.  From church leaders to community advocates, come hear stories and then pray with us!

Florida State Capitol National Day of Prayer Observance- join us for a time of worship and prayer as we gathering in front of the Old Florida State Historic Capitol facing Monroe St. We will gather with government leaders, pastors and others to pray for our state and nation.
