Somebody Cares Pasco is once again sponsoring a National Day of Prayer gathering, May 7, at the Pasco County Government Bld. off Little Rd. 8731 Citizens Dr, New Port Richey, FL 34654, 12 noon- 1pm. It will begin with Praise & Worship followed by prayers lead by area leaders. We will be following the outline of prayer points developed by the National Day of Prayer task force.

The Twin Cities Ministerial Association (TCMA) is sponsoring the National Day of Prayer event on the steps to  Niceville City Hall on May 7, 2026.  Pre-service music will begin at 11:30 AM provided by the Rocky Bayou Christian School Chorus and Band.  The Prayer service will begin at 12-noon with welcomes given by the mayors of Niceville and Valparaiso.  Prayers will be offered by various pastors representing the churches in the Twin-Cities area.  

As our nation comes together in unity and faith on this significant day, we invite you to join us in prayer and reflection. This is an opportunity for our community to lift our voices in prayer for our nation, our leaders, and our world.

We will gather at Ocoee City Hall to participate in prayer, worship, and reflections inspired by the values of faith, hope, and unity. Together, we will join millions across the country in seeking divine guidance and blessings for our communities and beyond.

We will have live music from 11:30 am to noon, then at noon we will begin our time of prayer. There are many area pastors who are coming together to pray over our city. We will be praying for America, state of Florida, and all the cities in Brevard County, Churches, Family, Government, Education, Military, Business and Media. Your prayers are vital. As we unite to GLORIFY GOD AND TO SEEK HIM IN ALL GENERATIONS. (1 Chronicles 16:24)

Everyone is encouraged to attend one or more of the prayer meetings held at: government facilities, churches, businesses, flag poles, parks, homes, conference calls, radio and media outlets, including those with special language accommodations (Spanish, Creole, Korean).

If my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.                        (2 Chronicles 7:14)

9:00 AM – 10:00 AM | Corporate Prayer & Simulcast: We will begin our morning in the sanctuary with a time of collective corporate prayer, followed by the national simulcast. This is a special opportunity to join our voices with millions of believers across the country.

12:00 PM – 4:00 PM | Open Sanctuary Prayer: The church will be open throughout the afternoon for the congregation and the Wildwood community. Please feel free to come and go as you wish for a time of quiet reflection, personal petition, and focused prayer.

Whether you can join us for the morning session or drop in during the afternoon, we invite you to be part of this significant day of faith and intercession.

A 24-hour prayer vigil will be held commencing with "A Midnight Cry" at 11:45 pm on Wednesday, May 6.  Prayer watches (3 hour blocks at 3, 6, 9, 12 am and pm) will be conducted with emphasis on the theme and the 7 spheres of influence.  Local pastors (ministerial alliance) and prayer ministries/intercessors will facilitate the prayer times.

Participants are encouraged to enter during the 15 minutes preceding the prayer watch times.
