We invite our community to join us as we mobilize unified public prayer at the National Day of Prayer gathering in Ansonia on May 7th. This is the 75th birthday of the NDP. Local Pastors and laypersons will lead with short prayers for the 7 Centers of Influence: Church, Family, Education, Business/Workplace, Military, Government, Arts, Entertainment and Media, and Israel. We are the Judeo-Christian expression of the NDP. Everyone is invited to join in releasing our combined faith through praise, prayer, repentance, and thanksgiving to Almighty God. 

We never cancel!! Inclement weather location is the Ansonia Senior Center, 65 Main St., 2nd Floor.

We are inviting the community to join us for prayers of thanksgiving, repentance, and blessing over our Town and Nation. We will be praying specifically for the seven centers of influence: the Church, Family, Education, Business/Workplace, Military, Government, Arts/Entertainment/Media, and also protection of the Jewish Community in the fight against antisemitism. 

It will be held rain or shine! Everyone is welcome.

Join us as we gather inside NewLife Christian Fellowship to seek God for His blessings and mercy on our country. All are invited to participate.

Prayer tent will be available for individual prayer.  

Pastors from area churches will lead group prayer covering 7 main topics.

Pray with us at the Willington Town Green near the big tree and flag pole.  Bring your family and friends as we pray for our town, state and country.  GOD BLESS AMERICA!  Prayer guides will be available.

 National Day of Prayer is a day set aside for people from all walks of life to come together and pray for our Nation and our families. It’s a moment for us to pause, reflect, and appreciate what we have while recognizing prayer’s importance in keeping our country safe and healthy. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says," If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." Please join us as we pray for this special place we call home!

The Town of Windsor CT will have it's National Day of Prayer Service at 7pm on May 7th, 2026 at Trinity Church located at 180 Park Ave, Windsor CT.
