Grandmothers Connection will gather May 2nd on National Day of Prayer.  
We meet once a year. This year 2024: 10am 

hear Sue Roberts.  She will equip us as we learn together about fervent effective prayers. 

Please bring photos of your "grands" as we will be praying for these precious lives whether they are young or already grown.

As we live in a hard to predict weather, climate two locations have been secured. Carmichael Park for outdoors and the Alli Event Center for indoors.

Additionally, some local churches will be hosting prayer vigils both in person and virtually if you cannot attend in person or at that time

LIFE Church welcomes our community to join in Biblically based prayer for wisdom, discernment, strength, and courage for our elected Leaders at the National, State, and local levels, for our Judges, for 1st Responders, and for Teachers. We also encourage this as an opportunity to pray or give praise for any other relational, health, decision-making, or other circumstance. We pray that all people repent and turn to Jesus as Lord & Savior.

This event is scheduled from 6AM to 9 AM, Thursday, 2May2024 and includes pastries and coffee.

National Day of Prayer, hosted by the Canon City Ministerial Alliance on Thursday, May 2nd from 9 - 9:30am at Macon Plaza at 5th and Macon. For those that are interested, we will then walk over to City and County buildings to pray.  This is a stand up gathering - so no chairs provided (or bring your own).

National Day of Prayer - Castle Rock - Thursday, 5/2/2024 from 12-1pm

Location: 301 Wilcox St, Castle Rock. Outside at the East Steps of the Douglas County building. (Rain or Shine)

Purpose: Churches from the Castle Rock region coming together to Worship and Pray over our nation. Seeking the face of Jesus in the Unity of the Spirit.

We will be opening the mic (with an MC to manage things) for all to pray with the following guidelines... 

1. We are praying to Jesus.

2. We will not speak against people, but against principalities and powers. We will only bless and not curse people.

3. We will ask for prayers to be kept to 2 minutes or less depending on the number of people we have to pray. The hope is to get many people up to pray and engage our community into prayer!

4. We don't want prayers to turn political, but we can absolutely pray (with love) into the hot topics that are on the forefront of the news.

The National Day of Prayer is a day of religious observance in the United States of America in which people are called upon to pray for their country.

*On this Thursday, the CCES Sancutary will be open for prayer all day, from 10 AM to 5 PM. Lights will be dim and music will be playing softly.

*There will be a list of things to pray for available

*There will be communion elements availabe with scripture for any to take on their own.

*Stay to pray as long as you like.

Prayer together on National Day of Prayer

Please join us at Mountainview Church to pray and worship God in recognition of the National Day of Prayer 2024. We’ll meet from 6:30-7:30 pm on Thursday, May 2. All are welcome. 

Gather at Old Kiowa Courthouse for praise music and small group prayer, with each group led by a facilitator.  LIft up prayers for Elbert County, along with our state, nation and world!  Gather with others to send the sweet aroma of prayer up to the Lord! It is time to act and pray boldly!

Join us as we gather to pray together as the Body of Christ here in La Junta.  Pastors and Leaders from the community will be facilitating prayer for each of the different areas of society as we gather together in intercession for our community and nation.  

My police fellowship and family will gather at our home church location for a NDP event.

Join the community of Parker as we gather to pray and worship God's glory across the earth on the National Day of Prayer. We will stand together with Parker local churches, as we seek God's vision for our nation and local community.

Please join The Crossing Church for a time of prayer, food, and fellowship. A Continental Breakfast along with breakfast burritos from Rosita's will be served before and after the service.
