Open time of gathering for Prayer for our Nation

Join us for the Official Colorado Springs City-Wide National Day of Prayer.  Together we will seek the LORD for spiritual awakening in Colorado Springs, El Paso County & beyond.

A gathering led by local church and civic leaders to pray for our nation. 

Gather as a community to pray at the Delta County Courthouse for our nation.  

Join Church in the City to pray for our city, state, and nation. Let's glorify God together!

Join us for a powerful and unifying time of prayer on the steps of our State Capitol as we gather for the National Day of Prayer. This is more than an event. It is a moment for our community to come together across generations, churches, and backgrounds to seek God on behalf of our city, state, and nation.

Throughout this two hour experience, we will move through focused times of prayer for key areas of our lives and society including our families, churches, schools, leaders, and more. You will hear from local voices, be led in meaningful moments of worship, and experience powerful opportunities to engage, not just observe.

This is a participatory gathering. You will be invited to

Stand in agreement for our leaders and community

Join in corporate moments of worship and declaration

One of the most special moments of the day will be when our youth lead us in song and declaration, reminding us that God is moving through every generation.

We will also conclude with a time of personal prayer and ministry for anyone who would like to respond, whether you are interceding for our state and nation or seeking encouragement, direction, healing, or simply want someone to pray with you.

All are welcome. Whether you come with deep faith or simple curiosity, there is a place for you here.

We will open with worship, and prepare our hearts for prayer. This year on May 7, 2026, we will unite and pray as our new 2026 theme calls us to, “Glorify God Among the Nations, Seeking Him in All Generations.”

Inviting the community for an hour of prayer involving local pastors and community influencers. Special music is provided by a Christian High School and Elementary School. We meet outdoors at the Franktown Fire Protection. If inclement weather, we meet indoors.

Join us at NCC at noon for theNational Day of Prayer Observance and time of prayer together. The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people of all faiths to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman. It exists to mobilize the Christian community to intercede for America's leaders and its families. The National Day of Prayer belongs to all Americans. It is a day that transcends differences, bringing together citizens from all backgrounds.

Join Christians from across Mesa County for the National Day of Prayer event.

We will meet at the Old Mesa County Courthouse at 5:30PM on Thursday, May 7th.

Hosted by the Grand Junction Ministerial Alliance.

Join us to pray for city, county and state leaders, business leaders and the mountains of influence throughout Weld County, Colorado, the County established in Colorado to proclaim the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ on this Diamond Jubilee year of prayer!

Join us as we gather with other believers praying for our Nation together on the National Day of Prayer.  We will meet at the LiveWell Park at 316 Santa Fe Ave in La Junta from Noon to 1pm.  We'll have a time of worship, followed by prayer time together for the specific areas targeting our Nation and leaders.  Spread the word, invite a friend and come pray with us as we cry out to the Lord on behalf of the United States of America.

Longmont Colorado's Noontime Observance of the National Day of Prayer. We will be gathering as a Christian community to pray for our nation and leaders from 12pm to 1pm. Join us as we pray for our national, state, and local leaders. That God may grant us a Great Awakening and revive us. The event will be conducted in a "Concert of Prayer" format with pre-appointed community leaders assigned to pray over the different mountains of society. It will be held outside (rain or shine) in the north plaza between the Civic Center (350 Kimbark Street) and the Library buildings. 50 chairs will be provided. This year’s theme, “Glorify God Among the Nations, Seeking Him in All Generations,” invites us to look beyond ourselves and pray across generations and communities with hearts centered on faith and purpose.

National Day of Prayer for Northern Colorado is organized by area churches to bring the community, businesses, and officials together for prayer. Kids welcome!

We invite you to join us for the Teller County National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 7, 2026, with guest speaker Richard Harris, held at the Ute Pass Cultural Center in Woodland Park from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.

This local event will bring together believers from across Teller County to stand in unity, lift up our leaders, and pray for wisdom, protection, and a return to strong moral and spiritual foundations.

It is a time to seek God’s guidance and to reaffirm our responsibility to be engaged, faithful citizens who influence our communities for good.
