QUICK NOTES
- ALL AGES WELCOME! 😊
- If time permits, we will focus intensely (1-2 minutes) to pray for you and the state where you live.

Join Us at the Heart of California for the National Day of Prayer
We’re on the brink of something extraordinary, and you’re invited to be at the center of it!
California Family Council is honored to host a powerful gathering for the National Day of Prayer on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at the California State Capitol in Sacramento. This sacred day is a vital opportunity to come together in humble and unified prayer for our state and our nation.
Why You Should Attend
This is not just another event—it’s a moment to lift our voices in prayer for our leaders, our communities, and our country. As believers, we are called to intercede, to seek God’s guidance, and to stand in the gap for our nation.
Praying together at the Capitol is more than symbolic—it’s a bold declaration that faith has a place in the public square, and that prayer has the power to change hearts, shape policy, and bring renewal. With an uplifting schedule of Scripture, worship, and intercession, every moment of this gathering will be an opportunity to unite in purpose and call upon the Lord with one voice.
A Spiritual Battle at the California State Capitol
On May 1, 2025, while millions across the country bow their heads to pray, the Satanic Temple of Northern California will be stationed on the west steps of the California State Capitol, boldly mocking the sacred purpose of the National Day of Prayer and attempting to sow confusion, darkness, and deception.
Their event flyer reveals a shocking agenda for the day, including:
“Songs of Satanic Nature”
“Satanic Booty Shakin’”
“Poetry by Lucien Greaves” (the group’s national founder)
“No Master Prayer” – a direct rejection of God’s authority
Talks on “Heresy and Personal Freedom”
Open mockery of Biblical values
They are not hiding it—they are deliberately gathering to desecrate a day meant for prayer. They intend to publicly reject Jesus and promote a godless worldview under the banner of “pluralism” and “personal freedom.”
This is spiritual warfare, not politics. And we must respond not with fear—but with faith.
We are called to “stand firm against the schemes of the devil” (Ephesians 6:11) and to be salt and light in a world that is growing darker (Matthew 5:13-16). What better place to shine light than where darkness tries to make its stand?
Our presence matters. Our prayers matter. Our worship matters.
