Church members sign up in advance to read Scripture for 30 minutes, then pass on the next person signed up for their session. We have been doing this for many years and pickup each year where we left off; have read thru the Bible many times already. It is a very special time for our church members, especially some who are no longer able to attend regularly due to age or health issues to participate in the event from home.

We are so thankful to have experienced that good and pleasant unity at our United Gathering of Prayer and Worship last November. Continuing to follow as God leads, we have another opportunity to do this again on May 7, the National Day of Prayer!
We are encouraged to see even more churches committing to praying together. We're praying that as many churches as possible in central AR would gather to remember, revive, and rejoice in God's promises. 1 Chronicles 16:24 is the theme verse for the National Day of Prayer: "Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!”
Will you continue to share this vision of a united gathering of prayer and worship that God has given us to gather churches and unite as many people as possible to keep praying this prayer together over our city?
United Gathering of Prayer and Worship
May 7 at 7:00 p.m.
Fellowship Bible Church (WRL Campus) - 1401 Kirk Rd.
The role you play in preparing for this night is:
1 - Invite your church
What a beautiful thing for the members of your church to come together and practice being united with others in a prayer for our city!
Attached are graphics you can use to spread the word to your congregation/contacts. Feel free to use them in any way you can to get the word out.
2 - Invite Others
If there are other churches, ministries, or individuals you know who would love to be a part of this night, invite them!
3 - PRAY
Pray for yourself - we know revival begins in us. Pray for your church - that they will be committed to come on this night and encounter God’s presence. Pray for the churches in this city - that we can be united as Christ desires His church to be. Pray for this city - that it would be awakened and revived because of a great move of God.

In this solemn assembly:
• The Word of God stands as The Final Witness
• The people are not spectators
• We the People (of God) are called to stand as witness and jury
The Central Declaration
“The evidence is clear—war, violence, and the shedding of innocent blood across the nation and world.
The question is no longer what is happening… but how the response will be formed.
We the People (of God) are called to stand, to return, and to live what is professed.”
This is not a rally.
This is not a protest.
This is a solemn assembly—a moment to reflect, pray, and consider how faith is lived in both public and private life. Love is the central call to action and the theme is: SEEKING HIM. 1 Chronicles 16:24
This special gathering will align our hearts with believers across the nation as we seek God for our church, our community, our state, and our country.
Come expecting a Spirit-filled hour of: united prayer, scripture-based intercession, encouragement & spiritual renewal
Let us stand together in faith as we lift up the name of the Lord and intercede for the needs of our nation.
