Both the morning and evening gatherings will feature Pastors Joe and Linda Johnson from Mount Hebron Church Ministries and Pam Hanes of Pam Hanes Ministries. There will also be musical performances by Apostolic-Bethlehem Ministries, the Bishop State Community Choir, Kenneth Brandon, Katie Braswell, Youth With A Vision, and Janiah Todd.
The events at Brookley by the Bay on Thursday, May 1, are being organized and hosted by the National Day of Prayer with logistical support from the City of Mobile. Both events are free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets for seating.

The Outback Ladies' prayer group prayed for NDP gatherings for the city, state, and nation during their prayer time as they met on Wednesday.
Students will pray and read scriptures around the flagpole to pray for our City, State, and Nation.

His Vessel Ministries is hosting the 11th annual Capital City Bible Reading Marathon. We invite and encourage Christians of all ages to participate, whether by reading from a location of your choice on Thursday, May 1, or publicly at the Alabama State Capitol, 600 Dexter Ave., on Friday and Saturday.
This is a community effort, with readings continuously occurring in 15-minute segments. Reading of the entire Bible will culminate on Saturday, May 3. The 2025 Montgomery Prayer Breakfast for the City and County of Montgomery is Thursday, May 1, at 7 A.M. at the Alabama Activity Center, 201 Dexter Avenue, downtown Montgomery. The breakfast is in conjunction with the National Day of Prayer and aims to bring the community together to pray for those in authority over the city, state, and country.
A sumptuous buffet breakfast will be served, followed by worship through song and dedicated prayer. So that you know, tickets for the breakfast are limited and priced at $30.00 per person. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Everyone is invited to the annual National Day of Prayer Rally on Thursday, May 1, 2025. The event will be on the Blount County Courthouse steps at 12:00 noon. As the reading of God's Word goes forth all week over our cities, volunteers often express a sense of fulfillment and awe after reading from the Bible out loud in such a setting. As the power of the scripture leaps off the pages when it is read out loud. The word will not return void.
The City of Troy, Alabama, has hosted the Bible Reading Marathon for almost 20 years, leading up to the National Day of Prayer Ceremony that starts at noon, 12-1 pm Central time on the Square in Troy, Alabama.
