This is a one-hour prayer gathering at Greenville St. Park

Local pastors lead in worship and prayer. Prayers are lifted for our nation,

state, county, city, schools, families and churches.

Please join us inside at the Wheeler House and join local pastors pray for our nation.

Community gathering to pray for Cumming, Forsyth County, Georgia, and the United States.

Program 30 Minutes includes Mayor giving NDP Proclamation, Local Pastor Roosevelt Glover, 7 Citizens to Pray for 7 Centers of Influence, Students leading in Pledge of Allegiance

Thursday, May 2nd is the 73rd annual National Day of Prayer.  Let us come together from 6:30pm to 7:30pm for a community service at the Veterans Park in Springfield (located beside the Effingham Hospital).  Join us in lifting up the Word of God as we embrace His promises.  May we shine His light to the world!

Our annual NDOP event will connect and encourage ALL people of faith to pray for our nation, and its leaders on THURSDAY, MAY 2, 2024. Our outdoor venue is located at Liberty Plaza (across from the Georgia State Capitol),  262 Capitol Ave., SE, Atlanta, GA, USA, 30334. We will promptly begin at 10:00 a.m. and commence on or before 12:00 p.m.

We will be gathering at Colquitt County Court house at 12:00pm until 1:00pm

This year, we are seizing a powerful moment at noon ET on the steps of City Hall in Union City, inviting every soul within South Fulton County, Georgia, to dedicate one transformative hour to pray for our beloved nation, our resilient state, and our vibrant community. 

Stand shoulder to shoulder with fellow citizens in a profound act of Christian solidarity and spiritual renewal. This is not just an event; it's a movement—a call to action for everyone who believes in the power of prayer and the strength of community.

Our Chapel will be open during the National Day of Prayer for anyone who wants to spend intentional time in the Lord's presence. 

The purpose of this breakfast is to gather with fellow prayer warriors, government officials, and local religious leaders to eat, pray over the needs of our community, and encourage one another. 

Event is by invitation

Gather for corporate prayer in the Worship Center at noon. A lite lunch will be served following the corporate prayer time.  The Worship Center will remain open until 7:30 PM for anyone who desires to come by and pray individually.

Prayer warriors will gather at the Bulloch County Courthouse grounds at 12 noon for corporate praise and prayer.

During this event we will have speakers pray for the following areas:  Families, Government, Education, Religion

Following each speaker, we will break into group intercessory prayer.  

We will close the event with a prayer walk around the Justice and Administration Center.

There will be seven pastors from both Greene and Putnam Counties joining together in prayer asking God to heal out problems and continue to bless our wonderful country.  Each pastor will recite their own 2 - 3-minute prayer.  The call to prayer will begin with the blowing of the Shofar followed by the first pastors prayer.

The group includes white, black, Hispanic, male and female pastors from different religions in the two counties.

This is the fourth time for this two-county joint ecumenical NDP celebration.

This year's event will also be live streamed and recorded on Facebook at "Pray for America Greene County".

Join us at the City Park in Rentz as we call upon the name of the Lord and intercede for our nation.

Voices to Connect and Unhurried Living are inviting you to a gathering of followers of Jesus from across the country for an hour on the National Day of Prayer on May 2 at 12:00pm Eastern. Together, we’ll seek God’s presence, and ask that God’s light would shine in our lives. Together, we’ll seek God’s guidance in our lives for the year ahead. As we pray for our nation, the greatest prayer we could offer is the one Jesus taught us, where he encourages us to address God as our heavenly Father and welcome his reign (thy kingdom come) and his leadership (thy will be done), on earth as it is in heaven. Each Intercessor will be assigned a section of our observance to ensure coverage of      all prayer requests. As well our song & music worship will be provide by WOO's Music department.

Prior and during the May 2nd event - information of Prayer and Praise program will be given out and a slip of paper for the people to write down prayer requests to be deposited in a designated place and prayed over during our observance of the National Day of Prayer.

National Day of Prayer is thrilled once again to host the Spalding County 2024 National Day of Prayer Celebration, which will be held on the front patio of the Spalding County Courthouse. This year's service will be provided by a wide selection of Pastoral Staff as well as Community Leaders. It is sure to be filled with uplifting prayers, worship songs and hymns as well as a short message. It is guaranteed to be a multi-ethnic, a multi-generational and a multi-denominational event that lasts approximately 45 minutes. Everyone is invited and highly encouraged to attend and help us "Lift up the World and Light up the World" (2 Samuel 22:29-31). Arrive early to get a seat and enjoy the pre-service music. NOTE: In the event of inclement weather, services will be moved next door to Journey Church at 210 East Solomon Street.

Pastors and other local leaders will be leading prayer in front of our County Courthouse in Jasper, with the participation of music ministers from various area churches. All citizens and concerned believers are invited to join us to pray for the spiritual health of our community, state and nation.

National Day of Prayer Service is open to the community.

The Hispanic Baptist churches of Gainesville, GA are coming together to host an event for the community to celebrate the national day of prayer. The event will be hosted at La Primera Iglesia Bautista Hispana de Gainesville, GA, gym facility. All the churches that will participate will have their youth pastor/leader be in charge of praying over one of the seven topics. There will be fellowship and food after the prayer. This event will be bilingual.

Discuss the inception and orginator and overall history.  The National Day of Prayer has been celebrated for since 2017 by our local church, Restoration Ministries Church.  It was initated on site and many believers over the years have attended.  Local clergymen, ministers and laypersons in the faith. 

The start of the Pandemic caused us to switch the forum to online.  Our goal is to eventually return to the onsite forum.  The event will be an online Prayer event with mulitiple participants that will call in on ZOOM this year and have an opportunity to pray for our Nation.
