Oh give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples. Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; Speak of all His wonders. Glory in His holy name; Let the heart of those who seek the LORD be glad. Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face continually. Remember His wonders which He has done, His marvels and the judgments uttered by His mouth,
Psalm 105:1-5 ESV
Happy Thanksgiving! We pray that your Thanksgiving was filled with glory and gladness as you reflected on God’s love and all the He has done and responded with overflowing and ongoing thanks to Him.
We pray that you took time to share His wonders glorifying Him to your friends and family. As you testified to God’s goodness and let praise rise in the conversations around your table and television.
We pray that with thanksgiving you presented your requests to God, seeking Him in every situation and season of life, while interceding for your neighbors and nation.
We pray that you took a moment to thank God for the people in your life on earth and those you will be reunited with in heaven. As pictures and videos are shared or pop up unexpectedly on your phone screen, we encourage you to pause and give thanks.
For those of you who may have spent a quiet Thanksgiving home, remember that You are never alone. God has impressed upon my heart that it’d never just me, but always “we” as God never leaves us or forsakes us. We pray that you take a moment or more and give Him thanks as our always with us, Everlasting Father.
Lord, we enter Your presence in this time of prayer with praise and thanksgiving on our lips overflowing from the abundant blessings You have filled us with each and every day. Thank You for wisdom and strength, perseverance and patience in the trials and thank You for the lessons, love and laughter that have filled all of our days as we abide in You. May thanks flow from our hearts as our thoughts are filled with the gladness of bearing much fruit for Your glory. Thank You! In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus we pray, Amen!
Serving Him with gladness,
