Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples.

REFLECT

As we look toward 2026, we stand at the threshold of a truly historic and holy moment—the 75th National Day of Prayer and the 250th birthday of our nation.

This is more than a milestone year; it is a divine invitation for the Church to rise with hope, humility, faith, and unity. Just as the people in Nehemiah’s day paused, repented, and returned wholeheartedly to the Lord before rebuilding what had been broken, we believe God is calling His people from every nation and generation to seek Him with renewed devotion, as we prepare to rededicate our hearts, homes, communities, and nation to Him.

This call is beautifully embodied in one of the most meaningful moments I experienced at this year’s National Leadership Summit. We unveiled our 2026 theme artwork incorporating the iconic image from The Prayer at Valley Forge, portraying then-General George Washington kneeling before God in utter dependence. As one of our guests, retired Lt. Gen. Claude M. “Mick” Kicklighter gazed at the image, he quietly shared that as a military commander, he knew exactly what Washington was experiencing. “He wasn’t just praying,” the general said. “He was crying out to God for help… and we are living in a nation today that is an answer to those prayers.”

His words capture the heart behind our 2026 theme: Glorify God Among the Nations – Seeking Him in All Generations.

As we prepare our hearts and our nation for this landmark year, we are praying and believing that God will move powerfully across every generation. The same God who heard Washington’s cry still hears the cries of His people today. We invite you to stand with us and to pray with us—as together we seek the Lord while He may be found, lifting up His Word, proclaiming His truth, and calling our nation back to the God who established and sustains us.

Pray with me.

As we look ahead to 2026, we humble ourselves before You and ask that You prepare our hearts for this sacred moment. Stir us as You stirred Nehemiah’s generation. Awaken repentance where needed, restore what has been broken, and renew our devotion to Your Word and Your ways.

Lord, just as You met General Washington in the wilderness of Valley Forge, meet us again today. Hear the cries of Your people as we intercede for our nation in this pivotal hour. Let the testimony of General Kicklighter remind us that You are the God who answers prayer—across centuries, across generations, and across every moment of national need.

Father, prepare us to rededicate this nation to You; heart by heart, home by home, generation by generation. May the 75th National Day of Prayer be more than a commemoration or celebration; let it be a spark that awakens Your people and brings glory to Your name. In Jesus’ mighty and matchless name we pray, Amen.

Rejoicing in hope,
