2018 NATIONAL PRAYER FOR AMERICA
Our Dear Heavenly Father, while we come to You in complete humility, we also come to You with boldness in the authoritative name of Your One and Only Son, Jesus Christ, who is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. In Jesus’ name, fill us now with Your Holy Spirit and lead us as we pray in Jesus’ name for America.
Oh God, we are burdened for our nation today. We turn from the sins that we have committed against your Word and your Name. We turn away from our contentious words and ways toward one another that has led us to division and polarization. We turn away from our disrespect and lack of dignity toward each other, and we turn away from our continual devaluation of all human life from the womb until death in this world. We also turn away from and refuse to participate in skepticism, criticism, and cynicism in our nation. We turn away from anything that divides us, and we run toward the gospel of Jesus Christ that is the only thing that has the power to unite us together.
Lord, in this critical hour in our nation, we pray for unity in America. Only You can bring unity, harmony, and oneness in America. As your Word calls us in Ephesians 4:3, “Making every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace”, we ask You to empower us to make every effort to live in unity, to call for unity, and to forward unity in America continually.
We pray for the churches in America to unify in Jesus Christ and to pray as one unified spiritual family for America. May Your Church pray for America passionately, perpetually, privately, and publicly.
We pray for God’s power to unify families, workplaces, communities, and cities in America. By Your Spirit, lead us to forgiveness, reconciliation, healing, and unity.
We pray for people of all ethnicities and races in America to come together as one, living in peace and unity together. Oh Lord, because each of us is created in Your image, please give us the courage to stand against all racial and ethnic division, denouncing it as evil and sinful, while simultaneously coming together in unity with all persons knowing this is God’s will for us.
We pray in unity for the security of our nation. We ask You to preserve the United States of America from the forces of evil that are threatening our lives and our future. God, please guard all persons in public and private settings from anyone or anything that desires to harm us or take our lives. Our future is in Your hands.
We agree clearly, unite visibly, and pray extraordinarily for the next Great Spiritual Awakening in America. Oh Lord, wake up Your church spiritually and convict Your people to agree clearly, unite visibly, and pray extraordinarily until the next Great Spiritual Awakening occurs in our generation.
Oh God, we stand together upon Your words in Psalm 133:1, “How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in harmony.” Through Jesus’ name and by the Holy Spirit’s power, we pray for all Americans to unify and to live together in unity.
In the mighty and majestic name of Jesus Christ who is the Only Savior and the Only Hope in this world, we pray. Amen.

Facebook TwitterThis is exactly a democracy where we can each pray for each other. Why would you not want Prayer? I pray God’s peace on you and your family and life.
I pray for those misguided who think it wrong to exercise my right to religious freedom to pray to my Hod in public!!! Thank You God for America where I CAN stand in the public square and ask You to bring unity, peace and love to my country for EVERYONE.who lives here!!
Amen
We come to you today in praise that you have had mercy and grace on our nation. We continue to ask for your mercy on our country of the red white and blue. Our fore fathers created our nation one nation under God. We were built upon your name and your values. Our nation has strayed from what we were founded on. Prayer has been removed from schools. Schools are filtrated with violence. Not only schools but society in general is filled with violence and people that do not know you. Please turn our hearts back to you God. Help revive our country to a Christian nation. Allow a spiritual awakening among your people. We need you back as first priority in this country.
Thank you for the freedom we have in this country to serve you. What an amazing blessing we have to freely be able to serve you. Some countries do not have that freedom. We forget our religious freedom because it’s normal. We thank you and we do not want to take it for granted.
Thank you for the men and women that fight and serve for our country. Please protect these individuals that choose to freely serve. Please remind them who they are and what their purpose is for their life. These women and men devote their time and make many sacrifices for our country. Their families are deeply effected in tragedy on a regular basis. What greater love than to lay down their life. These families go through many ups and downs. Help them trust in you with their loved ones that are serving in this country.
Please guide the men and women in government. They are leading our country. The greatest weight is on their shoulders. Please give our leaders wisdom on how to wisely guide our country. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. Please encourage our leaders to develop a spiritual discipline of reading your Word. This will enable them to fear you Lord and will guide them on what to do and how to do it. Please help our leaders seek your face when faced with any issues.
We can do nothing with you. Please help our country as a whole become to know you better. Open our spiritual ears that we may hear you. Please guide us to repentance and turn back to you Lord.
In Jesus Name,
Amen
Lord, allow us today to humble ourselves in your presence, knowing that you are God, we pray and seek your face, we as church and as nation, we turn from our wicked ways, we repent from every sin that offends you, that prevents your mighty presence to come down; please, hear from heaven, the prayers of your people, forgive our sins, the sins of the people of this land, and heal our land. We declare that Jesus Christ is the Lord of USA, we surrender to your ways and pray for strong revival in America. Amem!
The headline reads
-Someone Dies By Suicide Every 12 Minutes, And US Rates Are RisingLord God Almighty, my heart sinks over this news. Lord Help us to reach out to these people. Heal Lord.
In the strong name of Jesus, The focus of this year prayer is unity. God – I say, have your way.
I call upon you to tear down every stronghold that would prevent Unity on those important values in this country. Let us look past politics and seek you for guidance to rule this great nation you have in trusted to us. We realize that everything belongs to you. We belong to you, All the land, all the silver and Gold belong to you according to your Holy Word. Lord, draw us closer to you. We are so divided Lord, start with our churches. Mend broken relationships. Have you way Lord, repair broken hearts today. You said Lord, a broken heart and contrite spirit, you would in no way cast aside. I come too you on behalf of those with a broken heart today, no matter the situation. God I call out on you for those individuals seeking peace in drugs, opioid addicts, and Alcoholics. Many have cast them aside, but you see them right where they are. Like Nathanel, you see us where we are in life. You see us afar off, God bring us all back to the feet of the cross LORD. We so need you.
Like Abraham I pray, for the say of the few prayers warriors on this thread. Hear I pray and thwart the plans of the enemy for our Life. Again, pull down every stronghold.
David said, I Cried to the LORD and he heard my cry. You no respect of person. Hear Us Dear Lord Jesus.
We need you, nothing but Jesus can deliver us. We are so far away from yon as a people, city, Nations and all other areas.
Bless your name Lord.
GOD BLESS AMERICA ❤️🇺🇸💙

My favorite part is, “We turn away from anything that divides us, and we turn toward the gospel of Jesus Christ that is the only thing that has the power to unite us together”, which is the part that could be prayed by every church of regenerated, repentant believers in Jesus in this nation, as well as anywhere in the world. This is the specific unity of the Church from which all other unity flows that has any eternal value that the world may believe God sent Jesus.
When we pray it, I urge all regenerated believers to concentrate on how to be more specific about praying in the name of Jesus. Right now, over a dozen different Christian denominations, worldwide, are being torn apart by internal groups seeking formal church approval of sexual immorality and false marriage of same-sex couples, which was unheard of in any Christian denomination fifty years ago.
Until we make the Day of Prayer be known specifically for unity in the name of Jesus for “repentance and forgiveness of sins”, as opposed to ‘non-repentance and redefinition of sins’ now being sought for same-sex immoral acts, we cannot pray together in the name of Jesus with “every church in America”, if it includes those who don’t hallow His name, and regard it as holy. God wants those errant, splinter groups that have strayed out of the name of Jesus to repent and return to the same holiness of Jesus we all get credited with when we live in faith of His name for repentance and forgiveness of sins, so we can get what we pray for united in the name of Jesus.
“46 He told them, “This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, 47 and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.” (Lu 24:46-47 NIV)
“13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” (Joh 14:13-14 NIV)
“But I withheld my hand, and for the sake of my name I did what would keep it from being profaned in the eyes of the nations in whose sight I had brought them out.” (Eze 20:22 NIV)
“”‘I will make known my holy name among my people Israel. I will no longer let my holy name be profaned, and the nations will know that I the LORD am the Holy One in Israel.” (Eze 39:7 NIV)
“"This, then, is how you should pray: “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,” (Mt 6:9 NIV)
