Can people of other religions participate in a National Day of Prayer gathering?

Are National Day of Prayer gatherings interfaith?

National Day of Prayer Task Force is not inter-faith in our observations, but are clearly distinctly Christian in nature.

For a gathering to be listed under the National Day of Prayer Task Force, all organizers and speakers must align with our Statement of Faith:

As an evangelical Christian organization, the National Day of Prayer Task Force focuses on biblical, Christ-centered prayer and is not interfaith in its official gatherings.

We mobilize Christians from every background who are in agreement with the biblical, orthodox view of Christianity as well as the biblical view of the character and nature of God the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit as expressed and revealed in the scriptures, our statement of faith, and in the historic creeds of Christianity.
