Luke 2:20 The shepherds went back, glorifying and praising God for all that they had heard and seen, just as had been told them. (NAS)

Greetings! We pray that you had a wonderful Christmas! There are so many beautiful traditions and ways to celebrate throughout the Christmas season, but as the holidays come to an end we are prone to quickly pack up the decorations and return back to our routines. We want to challenge you to take a moment to pause and praise Jesus right now. For a moment or two, praise Him for all He is and thank Him for all He has done.

Yes, we know that will take more than a moment, but it is a great practice and perhaps a great habit you would like to start this year. 2020 has been declared, “The Year of the Bible.” Throughout 2020 we will be providing several different resources on our website to help encourage and equip you to increase your Bible engagement and understanding. Just as the shepherds who saw the angels and went to see the baby Jesus probably could not stop talking about that night; our hope is that you will experience Jesus through the Word of God in new and deeper ways this year and glorify and praise God for all you hear and see.

As you pray and think about your goals or resolutions for 2020, we invite you to join us in reading the Bible daily and deliberately spreading the knowledge of the glory of the Lord by praying, caring and sharing the love and message of Jesus across the earth. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us and now He lives in us. He never leaves us, He is always for us, and will return for us. Isn’t that worthy of praise? Wouldn’t that be a great way to spend a part of your day every day? Experiencing and expressing His glory will change you and the world. This is the Good News of great joy for all people!

Please check our website and watch our articles for upcoming news about free resources to equip you throughout 2020 including our “90 Days Through the Gospels: a Prayer-Care-Share devotional Journey with Jesus.” We look forward to spending this year praying and spreading God’s glory with you. We invite you to pray with us now.

Lord, Jesus, I want to praise you throughout my days. You are Mighty, Wonderful, the Prince of Peace, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. You are the Creator of all, Savior, Redeemer, Master, Light of the world, Truth and Love. Thank you for coming to save me. Thank you for always loving me. I want to give you glory and I want the knowledge of You, the knowledge of the glory of the Lord to spread across the earth. Use me, prompt me, let me be bold and courageous to show and share Your love throughout 2020.

Serving Him with Gladness,

Kathy Branzell
