The Hope for America

I really didn’t have a lot to do with the church during my childhood. It was not something I was familiar with. But after I became a Christian at age 17, there was a very persistent guy on my high-school campus who made himself my friend. He walked up and told me that he noticed I had become a Christian. Then he said that he wanted to take me to church. I said, “I really don’t want to go to church. That’s OK.” But he wouldn’t take no for an answer. Read more >>

Can You Relate?

Danny Cahill - Author, Teacher and Winner of Season 8 of NBC‘s The Biggest Loser!: This morning, I woke up and began reading an article.  It talked about two people who knew the same person in different ways.  Two different people can know someone in completely different ways and on completely different levels. The article sounded as though they were talking about a different man! This opened my eyes to something that I’d like to share. While in the airport, I sat next to a man named Joe who was stressed out about something.  When I asked where he was... Read more >>

Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

You should know, that on Monday January 18, 2016, we celebrate the life and legacy of the Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King, Jr. I extend warm greetings to my African-American brothers and sisters and to all people of good will who follow Dr. King's example. You should also know, that on April 4, 1968, Dr. King was taken from us, much too quickly and much too violently. Yet, the manner in which he left us is not what I wish to dwell on as we commemorate his life. Rather, I believe it is important to reflect on the lessons he left... Read more >>

Happy New Year 2016!

"I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you and watch over you." Psalm 32:8The prospect of a new year could be both disquieting and exciting. It could be exciting because it could be a year filled with new possibilities and opportunities and, at the same time, disquieting if you face the unknown future with anxiety, wondering whether the problems and disasters of the past will repeat themselves. The Lord is Our Provider

We trust you had a blessed time as we celebrated the birth of our Savior last week. With the New Year fast approaching, we wanted to share a few helpful insights from our friend, Nancy Leigh DeMoss:I am so thankful for the many valuable lessons my father, Arthur S. DeMoss, taught me about a Biblical perspective on money and material possessions. As both a successful businessman and an earnest follower of Jesus Christ, he was a living illustration of those principles. As I look back on my dad’s life, I see several reasons for the blessing of God on his... Read more >>

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas from beautiful Colorado!  Like many others, I love this time of year – the cold, snowy weather and the bright, crisp air add to the joy of celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ.  As we reflect on His incarnation, I pray you and your loved ones make some wonderful Christmas memories and draw ever closer to our Lord. Impact Across the Nation

On behalf of the National Day of Prayer Task Force, we want to take a moment to share with you some of the exciting ways God has been expanding our ministry and increasing America’s awareness of the significance and power of prayer.  Seeds have been planted and lives changed. Indeed, the Lord is moving in this great nation, and we are privileged to be a part of His ongoing work.  Each year brings new opportunities to champion the cause of prayer and much of the credit goes to a dynamic network of volunteers.  Their dedicated efforts within their communities, coupled... Thanksgiving and Praise

“Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name.” Psalm 100:4 Thank God for what He has done for you – for answers to prayer, for forgiving your sins, for coming in to your life, for making you His child. We can thank Him both for blessings seen and those as yet unseen. It is a key to faith, and it is natural and right that we give thanks always to the One from whom all good things come (1 Thessalonians 5:18). Thank God for the results of prayer, both before...
